March 16, 2020-Due to ongoing public health concerns regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, Neighborhood Development Services, Inc. (NDS) is taking necessary precautions to assist in mitigating the virus. NDS will continue to be open for business during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m.) via telephone and email. However, effective immediately, the physical building will not be open to the public until further notice.
Executive Director, Stacy Brown, made the decision with support from NDS’ Board of Directors and based upon guidance from Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Health Department. She stated, “Our organization is in a position to limit public access and adopt social distancing in an effort to mitigate this crisis. For that, we absolutely will do our part.” She further stressed, “We are still going to be operating normal business hours with these additional precautionary measures.”
Not knowing the full ramifications of the coronavirus, NDS is approaching this as one way to aid in the efforts of containing this virus. “My priority is to do our part, and be as proactive as we can. Hopefully, we will encourage others who have the ability to adjust do so as well,” said Brown.
Again, NDS’ physical building will be closed to the public. However, all staff will be available via telephone and email. There is a drop box in the front vestibule for anyone who needs to drop off documents, payments, mail, etc.
