Great Partners Make Us Stronger.

NeighborWorks

NeighborWorks® America is a national nonprofit organization created by Congress in 1978 to provide financial support, technical assistance, and training for community-based revitalization efforts. The Corporation supports a network of nearly 240 NeighborWorks organizations that build decent, affordable housing, strengthen communities and enhance economic support.

Through NeighborWorks, NDS has access to financial resources, tools, training opportunities, and the experience of hundreds of colleagues from around the country who can help NDS make our communities a better place to live.

As a NeighborWorks organization, we are dedicated to building partnerships with individual families, neighborhood leaders, and others who care about and invest in our communities. We welcome the involvement of corporations, foundations, nonprofit organizations, government entities, and residents that share our commitment to strengthening our communities.

The City of Barberton

“The City of Barberton is going through an exciting period of redevelopment and re-energizing our downtown.  As Mayor, I appreciate the partnership we have with Neighborhood Development Services and the part they play during this period of growth.”

The City of Ravenna

“The partnership between The City of Ravenna and NDS is more than a cornerstone of the organization’s history. The City of Ravenna and NDS have worked together for over thirty years, and as Mayor, I have continued to rely upon that relationship to take on greater challenges within the city. We look forward to continuing our good work together in the future.”
